The new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV ”facelift” arriving in New Zealand around July 2022 will be followed by a new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant from about September 2022, Auto Distributors NZ says.
The PHEV is the first Citroen LEV to be launched in New Zealand with about 55km electric range (to be confirmed), combined with 165kW of power and 320Nm of torque.
Details on pricing, specifications and estimated arrival will be released nearer the time.
Citroen has unveiled significant changes to C5 Aircross, including an updated front end design, V-shaped LED daytime running lights and an upright front grille design while a new three-dimensional light signature features at the rear.
A new Eclipse Blue colour has been added along with a new 10-inch touchscreen in the passenger compartment plus a modernised central console, a high tech e-Toggle gear selector, a new driving mode selection button (including Grip Control function) and advanced comfort seats.
