The Polestar 3 will be produced mid-2023 and deliveries start in Q4 of that year, the SUV priced at 89,900 euros (about NZ$155,220).
It will have 360kW power, 840Nm torque, a 111kWh battery pack, 610km range, and take up to 250kW DC charging, says Polestar chief executive Thomas Ingenlath in launching the new Polestar.
The luxurious, aerodynamic and spacious SUV has lidar on the roof, 10 airbags, a 25-speaker Bowers and Wilkins sound system, electric motors on each axle, and a host of modern tech including self-driving ability.
A sustainable interior includes air filtration and the Polestar 3 is designed for families and their pets, Ingenlath explains.
He says orders are now open with the Polestar 3 on sale in the third quarter of next year.
