Data received from Waka Kotahi – NZ Transport Agency shows that the Mitsubishi Outlander was the country’s top-selling passenger car in October 2022 with 1030 registrations.
It was followed by the Toyota RAV4 (746), Toyota Corolla (478), Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (453), Suzuki Swift (408).
In sixth place on the passenger registration table was the Toyota Yaris Cross (3530, followed by the MG ZS (323), Kia Sportage (301), Honda Jazz (267) and the evergreen Mitsubishi ASX (265).
Toyota was the passenger car market leader in October 2022 with 2226 registrations, followed by Mitsubishi (1767), Kia (1003), Suzuki (787), Hyundai (567), MG (499), Ford (431), Mazda (352), Honda (351) and Volkswagen rounded out the top ten with 340 units registered.
