North Harbour Ford’s service centre has been named as New Zealand’s first recipient among the national Ford franchised service base to be granted Ford Guest Experience Certification status.
The award is granted to dealerships and service centres that display superior customer service.
In particular, it asks that sites feature extensive use of innovative technologies and that staff serve customers with a ‘human touch’, among other parameters.
The Hillside Road premises offers customers coffee and a customer lounge. The site features a merchandise area,
“The Ford Guest Experience is a consumer experience initiative designed to primarily improve the sales and service experience for customers,” says The Ford Store by North Harbour Ford.
“It’s about having a point of difference and looking after our guests (not customers), as if they were family.
“It’s also about the little things we do – like having thank you notes on coffee cups lids, walking customers to their vehicles, regular communication and of course, our inviting customer lounge.”
The accolade adds to North Harbour Ford’s collection of nods from the blue oval. Earlier this year the dealer received its third consecutive Ford President’s Award; an award that recognises dealer excellence and is handed down from Ford Motor Company themselves.
