Organisers of the 2021 AfMA fleet awards are calling for nominations in the three categories the awards cover – Fleet Manager of the Year, Fleet Environment and Fleet Safety.
“AfMA’s 2021 Fleet Awards will look to shine the light on our most resilient, most innovative, and inspirational fleet operators,” the organisers say.
“We will recognise individuals and organisations that thrived in times of unprecedented challenges (caused by the COVID-19 pandemic), embraced change and reshaped their fleets to best serve the drivers and their communities…”
It will announce the winners at the 2021 Fleet Conference and Exhibition dinner, on May 20.
The Fleet Manager of the Year Award (for an individual) will recognise innovative and creative strategies, and improved efficiency and/or financial performance.
The Fleet Environment Award (for an organisation) will go to a group that has developed an innovative and creative leet management strategy for improving environmental performance and reducing carbon footprint.
The Fleet Safety Award (for an organisation) will look for reductions in the number of crashes/injuries/insurance claims, and positive financial outcomes for the organisation from improved fleet safety.
