Hyundai New Zealand is partnering with Coastguard New Zealand to enable the charity to achieve its commitment to a low emission vehicle fleet which is 80% hybrid or electric by 2026.
Thanks to Hyundai New Zealand, 20% of the current Coastguard New Zealand vehicle fleet is made up of hybrids such as the Santa Fe SUV pictured above.
Coastguard New Zealand says getting around Aotearoa and supporting its volunteers is important part of the charity’s mission.
“We are equally passionate about safety on our roads and on the water, making Coastguard New Zealand an ideal partner,” Hyundai New Zealand chief executive Andy Sinclair says.
