Fleet Expo Wellington on March 8 will see more than one hundred industry professionals and subject matter experts discuss the latest trends, opportunities and challenges for light fleets in 2023 and beyond – including net-zero, safety and efficiency.
Fleet Expo Wellington is a one day event being hosted by EROAD and the Greater Wellington Regional Council at Boomrock in the Ohariu Valley
The event will offer on-track experience, off-road experience, industry speakers, and networking opportunities specifically targeted to the light fleet operator who wants to be better informed and prepared for 2023 and beyond.
“As fleet managers the EROAD Fleet Expo will be an invaluable, unique event for the industry to embrace vehicle technologies and data whilst motivating us all as we look towards a greener, safer future,” GWRC fleet manager Jeanette Parsons says.
Places have been strictly limited to provide ample opportunity for attendees to confer with industry experts as well as test drive multiple vehicles including the latest battery electric and hybrid models on offer.
Attendees will not only hear about the latest industry innovations coming but also have the opportunity to build connections with other light fleet businesses.
Special guest Kiwi drifting legend Mad Mike Whiddett will lead the vehicle experiences with some smoke, speed and precision in action with one of the cars in his fleet!
Professional driving instructors from Downforce Auto Events will highlight the latest vehicle technology whilst keeping attendees safe during the on-track and off-road sessions.
The line-up of industry speakers includes Worksafe New Zealand fleet manager Matt Gibson, Optifleet managing director Jack Gordon-Crosby, ACA Research director Ben Selwyn, Thundergrid chief executive Jonathan Parker, EROAD product manager Soumya Puri, ChargeNet chief executive Danusia Wypych, and Auto Media Group managing editor Richard Edwards.
The speaker sessions will address the topics and challenges facing fleet decision makers – the shift to new technologies and deep dives into fleet efficiency; using data to ramp up the fleet’s journey to net-zero.
“EROAD Fleet Expo is exactly what the light vehicle fleet industry needs. It should be an action-packed day for fleet managers to equip them with all they need to take their fleet to the next level,” OptiFleet managing director Jack Gordon-Crosby says.
