The recently launched BYD Auto New Zealand brand has appointed a BYD approved panel repair network.
Only genuine OEM parts and panels are used – supplied from the dealer sales and service network – while a lifetime guarantee applies to all panel and paint repairs.
BYD customers receive VIP prioritisation and only waterborne environmentally friendly paints are used, which are 100% colour matched to original factory specification, says BYD Auto New Zealand.
“Assurance our panel network is audited to retain BYD standards including sustainability, health and safety, factory training and quality control,” it adds.
“Each specialist approved BYD repairer has been hand-picked not only for being the top in their field but also meeting all repairer industry legislation and are fully Health & Safety compliant.”
BYD approved repairers receive specialist training from the BYD Asia Pacific regional headquarters.
“By handpicking the best in their field, we know our customers are getting the very best aftercare possible if it comes to the unfortunate situation that their vehicle is involved in an accident,” says BYD Auto NZ group after sales manager Guy Starling.
“It will always be repaired back to manufacture specifications with precision and quality.”
All mechanical and electrical repairs and parts will go through the BYD Approved Dealer Network to hold the vehicle’s integrity and warranty. This includes any re-programming of the BYD ADAS system.
All specialist approved BYD repairers in the network are audited and have a set of standards and compliance which must be maintained, says BYD Auto New Zealand, which lists about 14 so far.
Over time, the BYD Approved Panel Repair Network will have BYD courtesy loan vehicles and EV chargers located at their premises, it adds.
